Was Shakespeare a Fraud?

My father spent most of his life battling against what he saw as the lie that Shakespeare wrote the plays attributed to him. In Western Esotericism his true identity has often been discussed. How pleased my dad would have been to see the subject finally being aired. There is now an MA programme dedicated to the ‘Authorship Question’ and this mainstream film is being released in September:

  1. It’s long been thought to have been the Earl of Oxford ~ good on your Dad .

  2. This looks like the sort of intelligent movie that I just love – that’s definitely one for my diary. I hope it gets UK national release.

  3. Mmmmm. Seriously interesting. Will be looking out for this one.

  4. More controversy, Sheik Spiro an Arab gentleman, lost in translation.

  5. Interesting looking fim. Is there anywhere on the web that makes a good historic case for the supposition of the film? I have had a look and cant find anything concrete?

  6. What? No mention of your friend and mine, John Michell?

  7. now that looks like a most intersting film, not to mention research area..

    *ponders this*
