Grace and Gravity – The TreeSpirit Project

My latest book features the TreeSpirit project, initiated in California, and designed to deepen our sensitivity toward, and our respect for, Nature. Jack Gescheidt, its founder, tells me he is working on a film now, and you can participate. See: navyo.com/film/treespirit

For beautiful pictures see his main site treespiritproject.com

Here’s a film about the project made a few years ago. Do you see ‘Grace and Gravity’, sensitivity and respect in this film, or do you see tree-hugging hippies who ought to get dressed? I see beauty and an expression of the human spirit yearning for closeness to a world it is destroying.

  1. Beautiful and compelling. Kudos to all the project participants. I really feel as though the images spoke to some soft spot in my soul.
