The Druid and the Vicar

On 10th April Mark Townsend (a very accomplished and much loved magician) and I are going to work together for an afternoon in a corrugated iron church outside Lewes called the ‘Tin Tab’ (as in Tabernacle). The event has been arranged by Transition Towns Lewes. Here is the bit about it from their newsletter:

The Druid and The Priest- touching the hidden gold
Saturday April 10, 1-7pm, The Tin Tabernacle in Barcombe
Human hearts and souls are hard-wired to the cycle of the seasons. But most of us need to re-connect. Two expert celebration-makers – Mark Townsend, a Christian priest, and our ever-popular leading Druid Philip Carr-Gomm – will help create a post-modern celebration of renewal. The workshop ends with a show of magic from Mark, a man who Uri Geller called ‘amazing and inspirational!’ Please book soon because tickets will be limited.  £20 each  (negotiable)
Email transitiontownlewes@googlemail.com to book, or phone 07855 777715

Here is a recent interview with Mark:
