Wildheart Gathering

A group of friends in our local area bought an area of woodland near the town and next month they’ll be holding a weekend there which sounds promising: the Wildheart Gathering “in the heart of the Sussex countryside over the May Beltaine (1st to 5th May) weekend, there will be a gathering of some of the most inspiring, passionate and committed pioneers of the wild. Visionaries, teachers, leaders, ecologists, performers, healers, shamans, artists, musicians whose heart embraces the wilderness that lies at the core of our human spirit. No longer able to bear the destruction of our most precious resource we are holding a gathering of such beauty and eloquence for peoples of all ages to come and celebrate this life on our true home. The gathering will bring together a number of groups involved in teachings of Deep Ecology, Wilderness survival, Indigenous wisdom, inspiration, compassion and wisdom. We welcome families and schools for adventure, fun and transformational learning.” More details.
