I’m off today across the channel to attend ‘The Garden of Creation’, a conference organized by the Orthodox Celtic Church and the Network of Sacred Eco-Sites, to explore environmental issues and the Sacred. It will be held in the beautiful and peaceful setting of the Monastery of the Holy Presence in Brittany, where my Druid teacher, Ross Nichols (Nuinn) was ordained as a Deacon almost fifty years ago. If you’d like to see their programme click here. (To download the pdf of the conference programme use the French version and click where it says ‘telecharger’).
Here are photos I took of the monastery in the Spring:

Wow, looks like such a special place.

is the monastery open to individual retreats? looks like a spiritually rich and ‘thin’ place. quiet and lovely. even for harried and spastic americans?

Hi Kimberley, yes it is! If you have a look at their website you’ll see there is an English version of the site.:)
