The UK Census forms thudded through our letterbox this morning. Even though it can be tantalizingly difficult to define one’s spiritual path, if it comes close to describing you, do consider putting Pagan first, followed by a dash and then whatever is your preferred allegiance. The Census body has confirmed this is acceptable and in this way it will help to create an interesting set of statistics.
All you need to do is put down your religion as:
Some examples:
- Pagan — Druid
- Pagan — Wiccan
- Pagan — Witch
- Pagan — Heathen
- Pagan — Neo-Shaman
- Etc.

However, if you just put Heathen, you will be classed as no religion.

Greg, that was corrected very shortly after the publication of that document.
This time round use PaganDASH http://www.pagandash.org to ensure that your heathenry gets counted under Paganism.
